  • Ellis Road is fully open to traffic from 26th Street to 12th Street.
  • Drivers should remain alert when using this segment as there will be times of temporary lane closures for pavement markings and final restoration of the project.

Project Overview

Contract Amount: $12.2M 

Reconstruct Ellis Road to a 4-lane urban street with center median, street lights, traffic signals and concrete side paths. New sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water main will be installed. Dedicated right and left turn lanes will be constructed at multiple intersections along Ellis. The improvements to Ellis Road will increase traffic capacity and safety. The utility improvements will serve the west side as continued growth occurs.
