51st Street and Holbrook Avenue Watermain Improvements

Update: 8/14/2020  

  • Holbrook Avenue has been paved and will be open to traffic by the end of this week. 
  • Tree trimming, topsoil placement and seeding will be taking place over the next few days.
  • The project is now substantially complete with minor items left to complete. 
  • This will be the last update for this project.

Commuter Route Information

  • 51st Street is now open between Holbrook Avenue and Drexel Drive, including the intersection of 51st & Drexel.
  • Holbrook Avenue from 50th Street to 52nd Street will be open to traffic by the end of this week.

Project Overview

Contract Amount: $987,157.20

Completion Date: August 7, 2020

This project will take place along 51st Street from Holbrook Avenue to Drexel Drive and along Holbrook Avenue from 50th Street to 52nd Street.  It will include new water main, new sewer main, full street width asphalt replacement, curb repairs, new street lights, and ADA sidewalk improvements
