Project Overview

Completion Date:

November 18, 2022 for the through traffic lanes. 

The turn lanes at North Marion Road & 259th Street will be completed by November 17, 2023 (after XCEL relocates their electrical poles)

Contract Amount: 

$3,252,767.76

Project Summary:

This project will reconstruct Marion Road from a gravel rural section road to an urban concrete pavement section with turning lanes from Foundation Court to 259th Street.  259th Street will also be reconstructed as an asphalt-surfaced street from Marion Road to just east of the railroad tracks.  Work on the project will also include a storm drainage system, sanitary sewer, and water main.  These improvements are necessary to accommodate anticipated traffic increases due to recent and future development at Foundation Park.
