Arrowhead Parkway and Six Mile Road Reconstruction

Project Update 8/5/2022  

• The Contractor is continuing with utility installation along the future Arrowhead Parkway alignment. 
• Arrowhead Parkway will remain closed from Six Mile Road to Willow Run for another couple of months to allow the contractor to install a large diameter storm drainage crossing.
• Grading and utility installation continues along the remainder of Arrowhead Parkway.
• The contractor is currently working on paving Six Mile Road so it can be reopened to traffic by mid-August.
• 10th Street is closed from Arrowhead Parkway to Tumble Creek Circle to allow utilities to be installed. 
• 10th Street will reopen to traffic by in early August.  
• Access to local businesses will remain open. 
• Please follow detour routes

Commuter Route Information:  

• Arrowhead Parkway is closed between Six Mile Road and Willow Run.
• The detour route is along Veterans Parkway and 26th Street.
  Arrowhead Parkway will reopen to traffic in October. 
  
• Access along Arrowhead Parkway will be maintained to local traffic and businesses from the west.  
  
• Six Mile Road is closed north and south of Arrowhead Parkway and will reopen in mid-August.
• Traffic will be detoured to Veterans Parkway.
• Access will be maintained to local traffic throughout the project.
  
• 10th Street is closed to from Arrowhead Parkway to Tumble Creek Circle. 
• A detour will not be provided. 
• 10th Street will reopen to traffic by in early August.
