17th Street and Walts Avenue Improvements
Project Update 11/5/2021
- Over the last couple of weeks, the contractor has completed the remaining work from 14th Street to 15th Street and the entire project is now open to traffic.
- Energizing of the street lights, resolution of minor punchlist items, and clean up and will be completed over the next few weeks.
- Seeding and watering will be accomplished next spring as necessary to establish vegetation.
- This will be the last webpage update for this project.

Project Summary:
Walts Avenue will include surface removal, installation of new water main, sanitary sewer, and street lights, placement of new asphalt surfacing, and accessible curb ramp improvements at the railroad crossing.
17th Street will include asphalt surface removal, new asphalt surfacing, and accessible ramp improvements at Menlo Avenue.
