With plans to improve the Lion’s Den structure, visitation and use is expected to increase. Currently there is very limited parking available near the Lion’s Den or the playground. While the proposed plan would eliminate parking on Grange Avenue a safer walkway connection would be provided to the existing large parking lot on the south side of the pool complex. In addition, approximately six new parking stalls could be constructed on the south side of West Third Street for convenient access to the central portion of the park.
