Lane Closure – 41st Street

Beginning Tuesday, May 31, 2022, the eastbound lanes of 41st Street will be closed from Sertoma Avenue to Kuehn Park Road to allow crews to perform street and utility improvements.  Eastbound traffic will utilize the center turn lane for travel.  Left and right turning movements will be restricted at various locations along the street as well.

The work is expected to be complete by early August. 

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – 33rd Street

Beginning Tuesday, May 31, 2022, West 33rd Street will be closed to thru traffic between Prairie Avenue and Grange Avenue. A detour will be signed.

Alliance Construction will be working on new utilities for Augustana University. The work is expected to be complete in a week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures - Arrowhead Parkway

Beginning Wednesday, June 1, 2022, the inside eastbound lane of Arrowhead Parkway will be closed between Gordon Drive and Foss Avenue to allow crews to perform landscaping maintenance in the center median. Two lanes of eastbound traffic will be maintained at all times during the maintenance work. Westbound traffic will not be affected.         

All work is expected to be complete in one week with favorable weather conditions.

Road Closures - Yankton Trail Park

Beginning Tuesday, May 31, 2022, the 57th Street entrance to Yankton Trail Park and the main roads within the park will be closed to allow crews to complete road and parking lot improvements. Access will be maintained at the Minnesota Avenue entrance and one parking lot will remain open for use.

Work is anticipated to be complete by early July.
