Street Closure – Sycamore Avenue

Beginning on Monday morning, October 25, 2021, North Sycamore Avenue will be closed at Club View Drive.

Spielman Excavating will be installing new utilities.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Western Avenue

Beginning on Monday morning, October 25, 2021, the outside southbound lane on South Western Avenue will be closed just south of 57th Street.

Engbarth Directional Drilling will be working in the area and the work is expected to be completed before the evening rush.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures – East Tenth Street

Beginning on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, the first phase of this work, the inside westbound lane of East Tenth Street will be reduced to one lane at Highland Avenue and the center turn lane will be closed. The second phase both westbound lanes will be closed and reduced to the  center lane.

First Rate Excavate will be working on utilities.

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately two weeks.

Lane Closures – between 18th Street and Grange Avenue

Beginning on Monday, October 25, 2021, the eastbound and southbound right turn lanes will be closed at East 18th Street and Grange Avenue to allow crews to complete sidewalk repairs. 

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.

Street Closure – Omaha Avenue

Beginning on Monday, October 25, 2021, South Omaha Avenue will be closed just south of East Tenth Street.

Backhaus Construction will be working on utilities.

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.

Lane Closure – Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday morning, October 26, 2021, the northbound lanes will be reduced to one lane and the southbound lane will be shifted to the inside northbound lane beginning just south of Tomar Rd and Crestview Dr.

Geo-Tek will be working in the area.

This work is anticipated to be complete before the evening rush.

Street Closure – Douglas Fir Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, South Douglas Fir Avenue will be closed at East Tenth Street with the westbound lane of East Tenth Street closed. Traffic control will be in place.

Midwest Excavate will be working on utilities.

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately one week.

Lane Closure – Spring Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday morning, October 27, 2021, South Spring Avenue will be reduced to one lane with an alternating stop sign between West 31st Street and West 33rd Street.

Spielman Excavating will be installing new utilities.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated that work will be complete within one week.

Street Closure –61st Street between Bakker Park Dr and Oakland Dr

Beginning on Wednesday morning, October 27, 2021, West 61st Street between Bakker Park Dr and Oakland Dr will be closed.

Northwest Corp will be removing a tree.

This work is anticipated to be complete before the evening rush.
