Lane Closure – 26th Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021, the westbound lane of East 26th Street will be closed between South Fifth Avenue and South Seventh Avenue. Westbound traffic will be placed in the center turn lane to maintain two-way traffic. Engbarth Directional Drilling will be performing utility work and is anticipated that work will be completed within three days. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Grange Avenue

Beginning on Monday morning, September 13, 2021, South Grange Avenue will be closed to through traffic between West 31st Street and West 30th Street. A detour will be established using Euclid Avenue. Alliance Construction will be installing new utilities and work is anticipated to be completed in approximately one week with favorable conditions. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Eighth Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, West Eighth Street and the sidewalk on the south side of the road will be closed between South Main Avenue and South Dakota Avenue. Jerke Construction Company will be utilizing a crane in the area and is anticipated that work will be completed within six hours. Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 41st Street

Beginning on Thursday, September 16, 2021, the outside eastbound lane of 41st Street will be closed from Valley View Road/Holbrook Avenue to Marion Road to allow crews to perform concrete saw cutting. This work is expected to be completed by Friday, September 17, 2021 and the lane closure removed for the weekend. Beginning on Monday, September 20, 2021, the outside eastbound lane of 41st Street will be closed again from Valley View Road/Holbrook Avenue to Marion Road to allow crews to perform street and utility improvements. Eastbound traffic will utilize the center turn lane in order to maintain two lanes of traffic in each direction. Left and right turning movements will be restricted at various locations along the street as well. The work in this phase is expected to be complete by mid-October.
