Lane Closure – Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday morning, August 26, 2020, the outside northbound lane of Minnesota Avenue at 77th Street will be closed. This work is expected to be done by the evening of August 26, 2020.

Runge Enterprises will be removing pavement on the shoulder.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures - Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, August 27, 2020, single lane closures will begin southbound on Cliff Avenue at the intersections of Fourth Street and Cliff Avenue, at Cliff Avenue south of Tenth Street, 16th Street and Cliff Avenue, and 23rd Street and Cliff Avenue to allow construction crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. The lane closures will begin with the inside southbound and turning lanes with traffic being moved to the outside southbound lane. As work progresses south of Tenth Street the lane closure will move to the outside lane. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times during construction. Northbound traffic will not be affected during construction.

All work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather conditions.

Lane Closures - 41st Street

Beginning on Monday, August 31, 2020, traffic on 41st Street from Hawthorne Avenue to Minnesota Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction as work begins on the 41st Street Mill and Overlay project.

Work on this project will include miscellaneous pavement repairs, asphalt milling, and an asphalt overlay. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

This project is expected to be complete and fully open to traffic by late fall of 2020.
