Lane Closures – 37th Street and Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Monday, April 13, 2020, the outside northbound lane of South Minnesota Avenue will be closed at 37th Street to allow Xcel Energy crews to relocate power poles. Westbound 37th Street will also be shifted into the center turn lane at this location. This is the first phase of a project adding a right turn lane for westbound 37th Street onto northbound Minnesota Avenue.

This lane closure is anticipated to last two days. Additional updates will be provided for future phases, however, drivers should expect lane closures in this area again beginning in May.

Lane Closure - Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Monday, April 13, 2020, the northbound lanes of North Minnesota Avenue will be closed near Fourth Street. Northbound and southbound traffic on Minnesota Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Public access to the Law Enforcement Center will be from Main Avenue.

Contractors will be installing the sanitary sewer main line on Fourth Street with the connection into Minnesota Avenue. 

This work is anticipated to be complete by Friday, April 17, 2020.

Lane Closures – Rice Street

Beginning on Monday, April 13, 2020, the outside westbound and eastbound lanes on East Rice Street will be closed from North Cliff Avenue to North Lewis Avenue for concrete repairs. 

This work is anticipated to be complete in approximately three weeks.
