CityLink Now Available on Streaming Devices

The City of Sioux Falls is excited to launch multiple new options for residents to tune into live and on-demand CityLink content. Anyone can now access the channel online and on Roku and AppleTV devices.

CityLink was created to inform and educate citizens about what is happening with their local government. From live City Council meetings to construction updates and safety information, the station offers the opportunity to learn about topics that affect our lives. In addition to live meetings, CityLink programming includes shows such as “Inside Town Hall,” “Planning Preview,” “Public Works Updates,” and “Sioux Falls Fire.”

“Any opportunity to make it possible for residents to access City information in an easy, familiar way is a big win,” said Mayor Paul TenHaken. “With new platforms like this to share City information, we aim to increase transparency and resident engagement. In today’s digital age, this is an excellent way to reach more residents in their homes and on their mobile devices.”

To stream CityLink to Roku and AppleTV devices:

  1. Navigate to the app store, download, and install Cablecast Screenweave.
  2. Once installed, find and launch the application from the home screen.
  3. Search for CityLink in the list of networks.
  4. Watch!

CityLink can also be streamed on the City’s website at siouxfalls.org/live, or by clicking the Watch CityLink button on the City’s homepage (siouxfalls.org).

Official meetings will continue to be available live and for playback on the City meetings web page at siouxfalls.org/council/view-meetings.
