Sanitary Sewer Repairs – Cain Avenue and 63rd Street
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday May 22, 2019, sanitary sewer repairs will be performed on South Cain Avenue between West 62nd Street and West 66th Street and on West 63rd Street between South Anthony Avenue and South Sundowner Avenue. The streets will remain open but through traffic will be limited to one lane at times, with no on street parking near the work zones.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to take two days.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction areas and may want to consider alternate routes.
Street Closure – 18th Street
Beginning on Friday, May 24, 2019, West 18th Street will be closed between Phillips Avenue and Dakota Avenue to allow crews to perform concrete pavement repairs. Eastbound traffic on 18th Street will be detoured to 19th Street. Westbound traffic on 18th Street will be detoured to 17th Street.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete within one week.
