Lane Closure – 26th Street

Beginning on Thursday morning, May 2, 2019, the right westbound through lane will be closed on 26th Street between Devon Avenue and Valley View Road. Westbound traffic will use the remaining lane.

Xcel Energy will be working on utilities and the project is expected to be completed by Thursday evening, May 2, 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Holbrook Avenue

Beginning on Thursday morning, May 2, 2019, Holbrook Avenue will be closed between Madison Street and Bream Place. The detours will be Madison Street, Valley View Road, and Bream Drive.

Signature Companies will be working on land development at this location is expected to have Holbrook Avenue back open by September 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – South Second Avenue

Beginning on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 8:30 a.m., the outside northbound lane of South Second Avenue will be closed between 13th Street & 14th Street.

Black-Top Paving will be performing sidewalk work and is anticipated to be completed by 4:30 p.m. on May 3, 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure - Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Monday, May 6, 2019, the outside northbound lane of Minnesota Avenue and the parking lane will be closed between Second Street and Seventh Street to allow construction crews to replace the accessible curb ramps. Access will be maintained to Second Street through Seventh Streets at Minnesota Avenue during this work.

This is the next phase of a project to upgrade the ADA accessible curb ramps and sidewalk at select intersections along the West 41st Street, South Western Avenue and North Minnesota Avenue corridors.

Work at this location is anticipated to be completed in approximately two weeks. Additional updates will be provided for future phases, but drivers should expect outside lane closures along these corridors throughout the summer.
