26th Street and I-229 Area Improvements Public Meeting
The City of Sioux Falls and the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will host a public meeting to discuss the 26th Street and I-229 area improvements, which includes a railroad overpass and Southeastern Avenue intersection improvements. The public meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Lincoln High School auditorium located at 2900 South Cliff Avenue with a presentation beginning shortly after 5:30 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to update the public on how the construction will proceed over 2019–2020 and to discuss how the construction project will temporarily impact the travel patterns in the area during construction. For those unable to attend in person, the public can enter questions and watch the meeting live at www.facebook.com/CitySiouxFalls. The public can also sign up for project updates on the City’s website at www.siouxfalls.org/public-works/street-construction.
