Lane Closures – Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, there will be intermittent lane closures on South Cliff Avenue between 18th Street and 20th Street. One lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times during construction.

The City of Sioux Falls Public Works crews will be making street repairs.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day on Friday, June 7, 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures – 41st Street and Louise Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, the westbound right turning lane of West 41st Street at Louise Avenue and the outside northbound lane of Louise Avenue at 41st Street will be periodically closed to allow construction crews to replace the accessible curb ramps.

In addition, the outside southbound lane on Louise Avenue at West 41st Street and the outside eastbound lane on 41st Street at Louise Avenue will be closed periodically.

At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Work at this location is anticipated to be complete by 5 p.m. June 26, 2019.

This is the next phase of a project to upgrade the ADA accessible curb ramps and sidewalk at select intersections along the West 41st Street, South Western Avenue, and North Minnesota Avenue corridors.

Lane Closure - Cliff Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, June 27, 2019, the outermost southbound lane of North Cliff Avenue will be closed at Sixth Street to allow construction crews to perform concrete pavement and curb and gutter repairs. One lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions at all times during construction.

Weather permitting, work at this location is anticipated to be complete in one week and Cliff Avenue will be reopened to traffic.
