Siouxland Libraries Announces Teen Bookmark Contest
Middle and high school students (grades 6 through 12) are invited to design a bookmark to promote Siouxland Libraries’ 2019 Summer Reading Program. The theme is “Universe of Stories,” with a focus on space, the moon landing, NASA, and related topics. One design in each of three categories will be selected, printed, and distributed throughout the community.
A template is available at every Siouxland Libraries branch; any medium can be used as long as it can be scanned. Only original images will be accepted, no copyright materials. Entries may be submitted at a branch library or emailed to email@example.com. Only one entry per person.
The contest runs January 14 through March 15, 2019.
Winners will be selected at the middle and high schoollevels, with a third staff pick. In addition to a $20 Barnes & Noble gift card, a Siouxland Libraries tote bag and several books, the three winners’ bookmark designs will be printed and distributed.
