Celebrate Read Across America Day at Siouxland Libraries
Join millions of children across the country in observation of the National Education Association’s (NEA) 19th annual Read Across America Day, March 2, 2019.
The occasion celebrates the birthday of popular children’s writer Dr. Seuss and the joys of reading. More than 45 million readers, young and old, are expected to pick up a book and read that day. The goal is to show America’s children the joy of reading and to build a nation of readers.
Siouxland Libraries encourages library visits and attendance at library programs on March 2, in observance of the day, and invites exploration of its website―siouxlandlib.org―for information, programs, and opportunity for every age.
For more information, please call Siouxland Libraries’ Downtown Library, 367-8700, or visit siouxlandlib.org.
