Board Vacancy— Sioux Falls Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority
Mayor Paul TenHaken has announced a vacancy to the Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority (REMSA).
The Authority provides guidance and recommendations to the Mayor and City Council on matters related to emergency medical services and provides oversight of emergency medical services in Sioux Falls, including call taking, emergency medical dispatch, law enforcement and fire first response, ambulance service, and online medical control.
Members of the Authority are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council and may serve up to a five-year term. Monthly meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 12 noon at the Siouxland Health and Human Services Building (Second Floor, Classroom 1).
