Maple Street/Park Street Corridor Study Public Meeting/Open House

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), Minnehaha County, City of Brandon, Sioux Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), and City of Sioux Falls will host a public meeting/open house on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, to discuss the update of the Maple Street/Park Street Corridor Study from Veterans Parkway to State Highway 11.

This public meeting/open house will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at the Brandon Valley Intermediate School, 201 West Park Street. A presentation will be given after the beginning of the meeting, which will be followed by the open house. The opportunity for informal discussions with SDDOT, City, County, MPO and consultant staff will occur during the open house.

The purpose of the meeting is to update the citizens on the status of the study, goals, and collect public input. Area residents, business owners, and daily commuters are encouraged to attend and participate in the study.

For those who cannot attend the meeting or would like additional information on the corridor study, information will be made available online within a few days after the meeting at http://siouxfalls.org/public-works/special-projects. The City of Sioux Falls will also be livestreaming the meeting’s presentation at www.facebook.com/CitySiouxFalls. During the livestream, you will be allowed to ask questions and city staff will do their best to answer questions received during the meeting.
