An Opportunity for Teens to Explore Career Options

What do you want to do after high school?

With so many options to explore, that can be a difficult question to answer. Siouxland Libraries aims to give teens in Grades 8 through 12 some ideas on Friday, April 12, 2019, at a Career Night at its Prairie West Branch, 7630 West 26th Street.

The event, which runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., offers students in Grades 8 through 12 the opportunity to meet one-on-one with professionals and learn about career requirements, needed education/training, and what it takes to succeed.

A variety of careers will be represented, including those that require technical degrees, four-year college degrees, and other types of certification.
