Biographer and Subject Discuss Their Creative Process

Journalist and author Angela Kennecke has told Steve Frey’s compelling tale in The Day His Heart Stopped Crying. Now the two will present a program on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, 6:30–7:30 p.m., at Siouxland Libraries’ Downtown Library, 200 North Dakota Avenue. They’ll talk about how they worked together and what they learned as a result.

Frey, who serves up faith and fellowship with every scoop of ice cream at his shop, Little Brick, in Platte, SD, asked Kennecke to write about his experiences with loss and tragedy. He will explain why he is so passionate about getting his message out to others and how the book is helping him fulfill his mission in life.

Kennecke will focus on the process of writing and publishing the biography.
