Unbored: NASA @ My Library―Jump to Jupiter
Siouxland Libraries’ popular NASA @ My Library series continues at the Ronning Branch, 3100 East 49th Street, with STEM programs for youngsters in Grades K through 5. It’s set for Tuesday, April 24, 2018, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.
Jump to Jupiter offers participants an opportunity to explore the path and distance from the sun to each planet in our solar system. Activities include jumping from the sun to each planet and learning facts about the planets. This activity will be outdoors as weather permits.
The NASA @ My Library project is led by the National Center for Interactive Learning at the Space Science Institute. Partners include the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office, Pacific Science Center, Cornerstones of Science, and Education Development Center. NASA @ My Library is made possible through the support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate as part of its STEM Activation program.
