Explore the outdoors! When you find an item on the list, check it off. If you can’t find the item in nature, draw a picture, or read a book about it instead.

Examine Nature
Find something in nature that really interests you. It could be an insect, plant, worm, flower, or any object that you think is neat. Look at it really closely; use a magnifying glass if you have one. Draw what you see and try to label its parts. When you get home, look in a field guide or on the internet for more information about your object.
