Dream Big…Fly High!
What would it take for YOU to fly? Look for a bird and draw a sketch for inspiration. Then write reasons you want to fly, create a supply list to design your own aircraft and finally draw a picture of yourself in flight.
Our community is more than the people who surround us; it is also the nature found throughout the city. When you are outside can you hear the chirp of a robin? Or the sound of leaves moving in the wind? Put your listening skills to the test as you complete the Listening to Nature activity.
As you get out and explore our community, there is so much to see! Walk around your neighborhood, go to a park or the Zoo, check out SculptureWalk downtown….what do you see? Play the “I Spy” game and learn about our community while getting some physical activity!
