School Based Health Liaison - Falls Community Health Job Opportunities

Rate: $19.19-26.12 per hour

The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is accepting applications for a part-time School Based Health Liaison. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position working up to 28 hours per week.   

The School Based Health Liaison will be dedicated to the growth and sustainability of our three school based clinics. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, improving population health at the three school sites by increasing school child utilization of primary care clinics; engage with school staff, families and children; organize and facilitate the school clinic registration process; implement a variety of school based initiatives, pilots, and improvement opportunities; attend school and community functions to educate families and the community on the availability and benefits of school based health clinics; be a central point of contact for operational and communication issues.

Well qualified applicants should be adept at relationship-building and comfortable with public speaking.

A two year degree in the health sciences, childhood development, business, or education with experience in a primary care clinic or elementary school setting is preferred. EOE.
