Admin and Inspection Support Job Opportunities

Rate: $13.50 per hour

The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is accepting applications for a temporary Admin and Inspection Support position. This position will be for approximately six months and will share time between providing administrative support and inspection services within the Environmental Division of the Health Department. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position involving approximately 15-20 hours per week between the hours of 8am – 5pm, with flexible hours, Monday through Friday. This position may also include some night or weekend work during special event food service inspections. Duties include, but are not limited to, environmental and public health assessments of facilities and residential and commercial neighborhoods as well as providing administrative support for the environmental health division to include processing of inspection paperwork and managing computer record files. Qualified candidates should have relevant education and/or experience. Applicants must be able to provide excellent customer service whether in person, on the phone, or through electronic communications. EOE.
