In 1995 Siouxland Libraries was created by a merger of the Sioux Falls Public Library and the Minnehaha County Rural Public Library. Siouxland Libraries provides services to the citizens of Sioux Falls and Minnehaha County (except Dell Rapids). Visit minnehahacounty.org.
In providing services the Siouxland Libraries continually seeks to identify and meet informational, educational, recreational and cultural needs. The ultimate aim is to bring its rich, varied resources to potential users, serving individuals and groups within its service area and beyond. Services are provided as a public good through the most efficient, economical and effective use of facilities, staff and material, in full cooperation with other institutions and organizations.
