STRETCH AND SWEAT
Get your sweat on! This workout starts slow with stretching exercises, so you can get ready for some higher intensity cardio/core workout that will get your sweat on. The workout will be followed by another stretching session. During this time, our instructor will also explain to participants the importance that stretching has on everyday activities. Bring your own towel/mat.

During this class you will be taken through a series of guided meditations that last approximately 30 minutes. These meditation sessions will also incorporate different techniques such as sound (crystal and Tibetan singing bowls and other instruments), Reiki, mindfulness, chakra balancing, self-compassion, and more. Each session will integrate different techniques.

Turbo Kick is an aerobic workout that focuses on raising your heart rate and burning calories through boxing moves such as kicks and punches. The class will consist of 45 minutes of cardiovascular workout and 15 minutes of stretching. All levels are welcome. Bring your own towel/mat.

LINE DANCING CLASS
Have you always wanted to learn how to line dance, but never had the time or opportunity? Join Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation along with Date Night Dance Company for an evening learning the basic movements of this enjoyable pastime. Line dance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows, all facing either each other or in the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time. Come try it out for yourself and become the eye of the party next time you see a dance floor!

TAI CHI—DRAGON AND TIGER QIGONG
Are you looking for simple yet challenging body exercises set for health, energy, and chi development? Look no further than Dragon and Tiger Medical Qigong. This tai-chi-like activity is practiced by millions of people in China to release stress and maintain robust health through eight diff erent body movements that trace the acupressure meridians of your body, giving it a full energetic massage and cleansing. Bring your own towel/mat on this fun-filled class partnered with Bodyworks by Veronika.

Cooking at home can be a daunting task, but a rewarding one for your diet and lifestyle (and your wallet). Making small changes in your diet is important to your heart health. If you’re ready to start cooking at home, this 45-minute cooking class, presented by Live Well Sioux Falls with the support from the American Heart Association, will give you the basics you need to make low-cost, heart-heathy meals. Each session will feature a different set of affordable and healthy recipes to give you the basic skills and techniques to get started and inspired and have fun! Registration required.

Salsa is a saucy up-tempo dance that is popular among all ages around the world and represents a mix of Latin musical genres. Bring your dancing partner and come learn the art of salsa dancing with Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation and Date Night Dance Company. No experience needed!

Come learn with us the art of PiYo. A hybrid, athletic workout, which combines the mind/body practices of Pilates and yoga, as well as the principles of stretching, strength training, conditioning, and dynamic movement. During a PiYo class, you will find yourself standing in a yoga pose one minute and down on the floor in a Pilates pose the next! Bring your own towel/mat.
