Gitchie Girl Authors to Discuss Latest Book at Two Siouxland Libraries’ Branches

Authors Phil and Sandy Hamman have drawn capacity crowds to Siouxland Libraries’ branches for programs focused on Gitchie Girl, their retelling of the 1973 murders of four teenagers at Gitchie Manitou State Preserve.

Now the true-crime writers have released a follow-up: Gitchie Girl Uncovered. It focuses on previously unknown information about the murders, including the brutal killers’ motive. Sandra Cheskey, the lone survivor of the horiffic event, will attend. She and the authors will sign books, which will be available for purchase following each event.
