Mayor Paul TenHaken has announced vacancies to the Infrastructure Review Advisory Board (IRAB).
The Board advises the Mayor on topics related to construction and land development in Sioux Falls, including fees, regulations, engineering design standards, and construction standards.
The Board is composed of 14 members: Seven voting members and seven alternates who are appointed to a three-year term by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. We are currently seeking applications for one local utility representative to serve as an alternate, one at-large representative to serve as a member, and one consulting engineer to serve as a member.
The IRAB meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the Water Purification Plant, 2100 North Minnesota Avenue.
Interested persons should have a strong commitment to public service with an interest in construction or land development in Sioux Falls. Application forms may be obtained by logging on to www.siouxfalls.org/boards-commissions.
