Lane Closures – 41st Street

Beginning on Thursday, October 18, 2018, the outside eastbound lane of 41st Street will be closed between Norton Avenue and Spring Avenue to allow construction crews to replace the accessible curb ramps. Traffic at Norton, Duluth, and Spring Avenues will remain open.

This is the next phase of a project to upgrade the ADA accessible curb ramps and sidewalk at select intersections along the West 41st Street and South Minnesota Avenue corridors.

Work at these locations is anticipated to be completed in approximately two weeks. Additional updates will be provided for future phases, but drivers should expect outside lane closures along these corridors until November. Access to businesses will be maintained.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure - Sixth Street

Beginning on Thursday, October 18, 2018, the outside westbound lane of Sixth Street will be closed between Bahnson Avenue and Twin Tower Circle to allow construction crews to perform storm drainage repairs. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times.

This work is expected to be complete in approximately one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure Update – West 57th Street

Beginning on Monday morning, October 22, 2018, the outside westbound lane of West 57th Street will be closed at the underpass of I-229. The following week, beginning October 29, 2018, the outside eastbound lane of West 57th Street will be closed at the underpass of I-229.

Service First Sprinkler will be performing sprinkler repairs and anticipates completion by the afternoon of November 2, 2018.
