Board Vacancies-Sioux Falls Housing and Redevelopment Commission
Mayor Paul TenHaken has announced vacancies to the Sioux Falls Housing and Redevelopment Commission.
The mission of the Commission is to improve the quality of life for the Sioux Falls Community, specifically its lower income residents, by administering housing assistance payments programs, promoting the development of affordable, decent and safe housing opportunities, and economic self-sufficiency in a non-discriminatory manner.
The Commission is composed of five members and appointed for a five-year term by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Members shall be qualified by knowledge or experience to act in matters pertaining to the establishment of policies and general oversight of federal housing programs and other housing and related economic self-sufficiency programs for low income households.
Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:30 am at the Sioux Falls Housing and Redevelopment Commission Office, 630 South Minnesota Avenue.
