Don’t Miss the New City Building Ribbon Cutting!

What:  Ribbon cutting and public open house for the new City building. The last time this was done in the City of Sioux Falls was in 1933, so don’t miss this chance to celebrate this accomplishment for our great city!
When:   Thursday, May 10, 2018
4:30 p.m.
Where:  231 North Dakota Avenue
Who: Mayor Mike Huether
Rex Rolfing, City Councilor, At-Large
Rick Kiley, City Council Chair, Southeast District
Matt Tobias, City of Sioux Falls Employee
Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce representatives
Why:  City services will be taken to a whole new level for residents and businesses when the new City building opens this summer with the aim of centralizing departments into a “government corridor” in downtown Sioux Falls. This will be the public’s first opportunity to get a sneak peek inside the facility. The building will be fully staffed and open for business on Monday, June 25.
