Board Vacancy— Board of Historic Preservation
Mayor Mike Huether has announced a vacancy to the Board of Historic Preservation.
The Board works to promote the use and conservation of historic properties for the education, inspiration, pleasure, and enrichment of the citizens of the city.
The Board is composed of ten members that are appointed for a three-year term by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at 4 p.m. in the First Floor Commission Room of City Hall.
Interested persons should have a strong commitment to public service and to the mission of the Board of Historic Preservation. Membership for the open position will be drawn from the community with due regard to proper representation of architecture, history, cultural anthropology, cultural geography, archaeology, law, or urban planning.
