Free Shakespeare Performances at the Historic Queen Bee Mill in Falls Park
Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation welcomes Bare Bodkins and their presentation of Shakespeare’s classic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream starting at 7 p.m. on July 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 15 at the Queen Bee Mill in Falls Park.
The lives—and problems—of lovers, fairies, and a bunch of amateur actors hilariously collide in this fast–paced and hilarious midsummer romp through the forest. A Midsummer Night’s Dream has something for everybody: romance, mistaken identity, and, of course, plenty of mischief and magic. Bare Bodkins’ 21st season promises to offer much to Shakespeare fans old and new.
Seating is on metal bleachers with very limited room for those needing assistance to sit in lawn chairs. Tickets are limited and will be handed out starting at 6 p.m. the night of the performance.
All shows are free and open to the public. Since all shows will be outside, they are weather-dependent. Performances will be canceled if there is inclement weather prior to the show time. To stay informed, follow the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation social media accounts.
