Siouxland Libraries and Sierra Club Present Before the Flood Documentary
From Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Fisher Stevens and Academy Award-winning actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio, Before the Flood looks at the dramatic changes occurring around the world due to climate change.
The film, which will be shown at the Oak View Branch Library, 3700 East Third Street, on Thursday, August 2, 2018, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., focuses on the dangers of global warming and what individuals can do to temper the damage. It is presented by Siouxland Libraries and the Sierra Club. The trailer is at www.beforetheflood.com . Mark Winegar, Sierra Club South Dakota, will lead a Q&A following the film.
