Board Vacancies— Public Transit Advisory Board
Mayor Paul TenHaken has announced two vacancies to the Public Transit Advisory Board (PTAB).
PTAB members provide assistance to the City Council by reviewing and commenting on public transit operating and capital budgets, major service changes, monthly reports, service procedures, and fare changes.
The Board is composed of seven members who are appointed for a three-year term by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Members must be representatives of such areas as private transportation providers, public transportation riders, advocates of the elderly and people with disabilities, and representatives of the safety industry, school district, and general public.
PTAB meetings are held on the fourth Monday of every month at 3:45 p.m. at the City Center building in the first floor Falls Room unless otherwise noted.
