—Board Vacancy—Siouxland Heritage Museum Board of Trustees

Mayor Mike Huether has announced a vacancy to the Siouxland Heritage Museum Board of Trustees.

This joint City/County Board is responsible for the development and operations of the Pettigrew Home and Museum and the Old Courthouse Museum. The Board prepares and recommends an annual budget, makes recommendations to the City Council and County Commission regarding the hiring of a director, adopts written rules and regulations as necessary, and receives approval from the City and County for all operating rules and regulations.

The Board is composed of eleven members, five of which are appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council. Each member serves for a three-year term.

Meetings are held the first Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. at the Old Courthouse Museum, West Sixth Street and North Main Avenue, unless otherwise noted.
