Groundbreaking for Westside Bike Trail Connection Scheduled for Wednesday

What:   Groundbreaking ceremony for the westside bike trail connection 
When:  Wednesday, April 25, 2018
4:30 p.m.
Where:   Take Marion Road to West 18th Street, then east to Ebenezer Avenue, then south. Ceremony will take place to the west, just past the Steeplechase Apartments.

Why: Construction will begin soon on the westside bike trail connection between Dunham Park and the Big Sioux River dam crossing. This 1.25-mile of new trail will provide a direct connection to the main trail loop between West 12th Street and West 41st Street that will serve the more than 40,000 residents who live west of I‑29 in Sioux Falls.
