The Facts About Immigration in the U.S.
Cari Skogberg Eastman’s new book, Immigration: Examining the Facts, offers readers an impartial understanding of the true state of immigration and immigration policy in the United States.
Eastman, a local, independent scholar studying border and immigration issues, will present the facts and look at how immigration affects South Dakota at a special presentation on Thursday, September 21, 2017, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Siouxland Libraries Downtown Library, 200 North Dakota Avenue.
Reviews praise her book for addressing “contemporary rhetoric about immigration with factual information based on reliable, objective empirical data.”
The program is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
