Dog Bite Near Bitterroot Street on South Western Avenue

Animal Control Officers responded to a dog bite that occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, between West Bitterroot Street and West 85th Street on South Western Avenue. A man was jogging past a dog on a leash when the dog bit the man on the back of his thigh. The dog was described as a black and white medium-size dog that had a silver dog-bone-shaped tag on its collar. The dog was being walked by a white woman who stopped and talked to the victim but she did not provide her contact information for follow-up. She walked southbound on South Western Avenue after the bite.
