Highline Avenue Traffic Switch

The switch of lanes on Highline Avenue, north of Arrowhead Parkway originally scheduled to begin on Friday, November 3, 2017, has been rescheduled to begin on Monday, November 6, 2017.

Beginning on Monday, November 6, 2017, all lanes of traffic on Highline Avenue, north of Arrowhead Parkway will switch from the west side of Highline Avenue to the newly reconstructed east side of Highline Avenue. Highline Avenue to the south of Arrowhead Parkway will remain unaffected. This work is part of the ongoing Arrowhead Parkway reconstruction project.

Phase 1 of this project is expected to be fully open to traffic by late fall of 2017, with additional work between Highline Avenue and Sycamore Avenue occurring in 2018. The overall project is scheduled to be complete by late fall of 2018.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Jade Berry Circle Construction

Beginning on Monday, November 6, 2017, Jade Berry Circle will be closed between Josh Wyatt Drive and Shadow Wood Place/Nature Run Place to allow construction crews to perform asphalt patching and street subgrade repair.

The work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may wish to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Firefly Drive

Beginning on Monday morning, November 6, 2017, South Firefly Drive will be closed between East Dillon Creek Drive and East 26th Street. Traffic will be detoured.

Prunty Construction will be performing utility work and is anticipated to be completed by the end of day on November 20, 2017.

Minnesota Avenue Construction

Beginning on Monday, November 6, 2017, the outside southbound lane of Minnesota Avenue will be closed south of Ralph Rogers Road to allow construction crews to perform concrete repairs. Watch for shifting lane closures throughout the week. Northbound traffic will not be affected.

This work is expected to be complete in approximately one week.

Western Avenue Construction

Beginning on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, the southbound lane of Western Avenue will be closed between LaQuinta Street and Black Rock Circle to allow construction crews to perform asphalt patching and street subgrade repair. Southbound traffic will be maintained in the center turn lane.

The work is expected to be completed within one week with favorable weather.
