Structure Fire—3300 North Seventh Avenue

On Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 12:53 p.m., Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire at 3300 North Seventh Avenue.

First-arriving crews found smoke coming from the exterior of a single-family home. Crews were able to extinguish the fire within ten minutes of the first arriving. Firefighters were able to rescue six dogs from the fire who were returned to their owner. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded with four fire trucks, two support vehicles, and a total of 18 personnel. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue was assisted on the scene by Sioux Falls Police and the Red Cross.
