Road Closure – Marion Road

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017, Marion Road will be closed between West Ninth Street and West 12th Street. Northbound, eastbound, and westbound traffic will be detoured onto South Ebenezer Avenue. Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Ninth Street and then to South Valley View Road.

Ellis & Eastern will be replacing the railroad crossing.

This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of day on May 12, 2017.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Bridge Repairs - North Drive
between Main Avenue and Phillips Avenue

Beginning on Monday, May 8, 2017, bridge repairs of miscellaneous railing repainting will start on North North Drive between Main Avenue and Phillips Avenue. Two way traffic will be maintained at all times with sidewalk closures over the bridge during construction.

Weather permitting this work is anticipated to be complete in one week work.

Street Construction –
Willow Avenue and Hawthorne Avenue

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 9, 2017, sanitary sewer repairs will be performed on South Willow Avenue between West 33rd Street and West 37th Street, South Hawthorne Avenue between West 33rd Street and West 41st Street.

These streets will remain open, however, through traffic will be limited to one lane at times, with no on street parking near the work zones.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipate to be complete in ten days.

Street Construction – Lake Avenue

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 9, 2017, sanitary sewer repairs will be performed on South Lake Avenue between West 28th Street and West 32nd Street.

This street will remain open, however, through traffic will be limited to one lane at times, with no on street parking near the work zones.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete in ten days.
