Travis Nye To Demonstrate The Art Of Illusion

Magician Travis Nye will present an hour of fun, mystery, and laughter for 10- to 18-year-olds on Thursday, May 11, 2017, 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Siouxland Libraries Caille Branch, 4100 South Carnegie Circle.

Nye will explore the science of illusions―how and why they work. He’ll showcase some of his own, including one that makes it appear as though someone is floating on a magic carpet a couple of feet off the ground.

Nye, who lives in Sioux Falls, will also talk about how he got into magic as a profession. Now 16 years into his career, he performs for schools, corporate events, private parties, and has a touring stage show known as Premonition Live.
