—Board Vacancy—Arena/Convention/Entertainment Center Board

Mayor Mike Huether has announced a vacancy to the Arena/Convention/Entertainment Center Board.

The Board advises the Mayor and City Council regarding the management and use of the Arena and Convention Center. The Board’s duties may include reviewing financial information regarding the City’s financial interest in the Arena and Convention Center, reviewing policies relating to public use of the facilities, and advocating the continued financial investment for improving and enhancing the Arena and Convention Center.

The Board is composed of seven members who are appointed to a five-year term by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Monthly board meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 8 a.m. in the Sioux Falls Arena Administration Conference Room, Sioux Falls Arena, 1201 North West Avenue.
