—Board Vacancy—Multi-Cultural Center Board of Directors

Mayor Mike Huether has announced an upcoming vacancy to the Board of Directors of the Multi-Cultural Center.

The Multi-Cultural Center is a private nonprofit corporation whose mission is to provide services and support for members of the various ethnicities and cultures that comprise the Sioux Falls community. The Board advises, governs, oversees policies, and assists with the leadership and general promotion of the Multi-Cultural Center. The City of Sioux Falls provides financial support for the work of the Multi-Cultural Center.

Board members include representatives from government, businesses, and the ethnic communities in Sioux Falls. One member is appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month at 7 a.m. at the Multi-Cultural Center, 515 North Main Avenue.
