Board Vacancies: Washington Pavilion Management, Inc., Board of Trustees

Mayor Mike Huether has announced three vacancies to the Washington Pavilion Management, Inc., Board of Trustees.

The mission of the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science is to educate, entertain, inspire, and to enrich the community by making arts and science part of our lives. Duties include understanding and supporting this mission statement, participating in monthly meetings, and becoming familiar with the programs, activities, and operation of the Washington Pavilion. In addition, mayoral appointees must be willing to report to the Mayor and City Council on matters relating to the Washington Pavilion and the City of Sioux Falls.

The Board may be composed of up to 21 members, including 3 members appointed by the Mayor. Meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month at 12 p.m. in the Washington Pavilion Boardroom.

Interested persons should have a strong commitment to public service and to the mission of the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science.
