Street Closure - Mall Avenue and 11th Street

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, Mall Avenue will be closed at 11th Street.  The intersection will reopen by noon to southbound traffic only. Northbound traffic will be required to use First Avenue.

Contractors will be performing concrete work at the intersection. Work is expected to be completed by July 7, 2017.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure - Bahnson Avenue from 13th Street to 18th Street

 Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, Phase 2 work will begin for the Bahnson Avenue Resurfacing Project from Tenth Street to 26th Street.

Phase 1 work from Tenth Street to 13th Street will remain closed until approximately June 30, 2017. Phase 2 of the project will be from 13th Street to 18th Street. The work area will be fully closed to all traffic.

Work will include pavement milling, asphalt overlay of the existing asphalt surface, concrete curb and gutter repairs, and ADA compliant sidewalk ramps at all intersection. There will be spot repairs for watermain and sanitary sewer utilities.

Phase 2 of the project is anticipated to be completed mid to late July 2017.

Lane Closure – Tenth Street

 Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 26, 2017, the left westbound lane of Tenth Street will be closed between First Avenue and Mall Avenue. The lane will reopen at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Contractors will be performing work on the First Avenue Parking ramp and is expected to be completed by July 7, 2017.

Lane Closure – Thompson Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Thompson Avenue will be closed between Tenth Street and 11th Street to allow construction crews to repair storm drainage infrastructure.

This work is expected to be complete by July 15, 2017.
